Miss Cranfield taught gym last period.

The Fred Fox (Terry Fox's brother) visit was postponed and we are hoping to reschedule.
Mr. Fox sent the Maples a book and I would like to share his personal note written on the inside cover:

To students, staff and parents of The Maples,

On behalf of our family and The Terry Fox Foundation, thank you for your long time dedication to participating in the Terry Fox Run. Your commitment to raising funds for cancer research is truly making a difference in the lives of those diagnosed with cancer.

Terry was just an average kid, not the best athlete or student in class. Terry needed to work harder than most his age to overcome the challenges that he faced. Like Terry, set goals, always work hard and never giver up on your dreams.

All the best,

Fred Fox
