It was nice seeing all of the students and teachers relaxed today in their pajamas!

This morning in math, students worked together to correct yesterday's measurement assignment. Some students were given additional instruction. Please complete the word problems for tomorrow's class.

After French with Madame Villeneuve, some students wrote this month's Caribou contest while others worked on their speeches.

This afternoon Mrs. Demetriou taught music and Mrs. Ruby taught History. Jot note assignment was taken up. Summative assignment for the British North America unit was assigned.

A reminder that students should come dressed for the weather at all times.

This morning in Math the students continued to review for the fractions test this Friday. Grade nine math students worked on solving equations.
Students continued to work on rough drafts for speeches. This due on Friday.
In class speech competitions will be held the last week of January. A specific day and time will be set in the next few days.
This afternoon Mrs. Ruby taught History. Mrs. Demetriou was ill.

Happy New Year

Happy 2018!!
Welcome back to school everyone!
Congratulations to Jada for receiving the IB Learner of the Month award for being both "respectful" and "tolerant".
After the assembly we spent time rearranging the classroom.
After recess the focus was on speeches. Students will be given time in class to write and prepare their speeches. Our in class competition will be the last week of January. Day to be confirmed.
This afternoon, Mrs. Demetriou taught instrumental music and Mrs. Ruby taught History. Focus today was on the War of 1812. Read pages 128 -141. Complete jot notes. Also page 138, #s 1,2; page 140 #s 1 - 4. Due Wednesday.
